Privacy Policy
KeepSakePage is operated by Truchel Advisory Group LLC. Last updated October 10, 2026. Questions: contact@keepsakepage.com.
KeepSakePage (keepsakepage.com, the "Service") is a product of Truchel Advisory Group LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: a page's contents are private to the organizer who made it and the people they invite; we use your information to run the Service and for nothing else.
What we collect
- Organizer accounts. Your email address (for sign-in by magic link or Google) and the pages you create. If you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe; we receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card, never the full number.
- Contributions. When someone adds to a page: the name and relationship they enter, their optional email or phone number, and whatever they record or upload — video, voice, written notes, photos. Organizers may also upload songs, a portrait and voiceovers.
- Invites. Names and the email addresses or phone numbers an organizer enters so the Service can send the invitation and a reminder on their behalf.
- Usage. Counts only — how many times a reveal was opened, a trailer played, a tile tapped — keyed to a random browser id, not a name. No advertising trackers.
- Milestone reminders. If you ask us to — on a page's thank-you screen or its reveal — we store the name you give for the person, the occasion and month, your email address, the page you were on, the time you agreed and your browser's user agent. We send one email about six weeks before that date, with an unsubscribe link, and nothing else about it: no second nudge, no newsletter. Write to us to have it removed sooner.
- Reports. Anyone can report a page from the reveal; reports are anonymous.
How we use it
- To run the page: store contributions, let the organizer review and arrange them, build the trailer and the reveal.
- To transcribe recordings and help the organizer cut the trailer. Audio and text are sent to an AI transcription and language-model provider for that purpose only; they are not used to train those providers' models.
- To send the emails and text messages an organizer asks us to send — the invitation, one reminder, and the finished reveal — and transactional email about your own account.
- To keep the Service safe: abuse reports, rate limits, and the ordinary server logs that come with hosting.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
- We send a text only to a number whose owner asked for it themselves, by entering it on a keepsake page (on the contribution form, or the "text me a reminder" card) and ticking the box that describes the messages ("KeepSakePage reminders"). An organizer cannot sign you up: we never text numbers that someone else entered. Frequency: up to 3 messages per event — a reminder before the page closes if you haven't finished, at most one more reminder, and a note when the finished tribute is shared with you.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We keep a record of when and how you opted in (the wording you agreed to, the time, and the page).
- We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are used only to deliver the messages described here.
Who sees it
- The organizer and the co-admins they add see everything sent to their page, including contributors' names, emails and phone numbers.
- The honoree and guests see only what the organizer approves and publishes, and only with the reveal link (which can carry a password).
- Service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (media storage and delivery), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Stripe (payments), and an AI transcription/language-model provider. Each is bound to use the data only to provide its service to us.
- Legal. We will disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Keeping and deleting
- A page and its contents stay as long as the organizer keeps the page. The organizer can delete any contribution at any time, or the whole page from its Settings. A deleted page goes dark immediately (the reveal link and the contribution form stop working); its messages, photos and recordings are removed from storage 30 days later, and during those 30 days the organizer can restore it. A deleted contribution's media is removed from storage within 30 days.
- Contributors can edit their own submission for 24 hours after sending, and can ask the organizer — or us at contact@keepsakepage.com — to remove it at any time.
- Invite reminders carry an unsubscribe link; unsubscribed and bounced addresses are kept only so we do not contact them again.
- Keepsakes for later are kept, unchanged, until they are delivered or you delete them — which may be decades; a page that holds them does not expire. Recipients' names and addresses are used only to deliver, to tell a keeper or fallback person when an address fails, and for the yearly list we send the author.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a use of it, by writing to contact@keepsakepage.com. We answer within 30 days.
- Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia and other states with privacy laws have the rights those laws grant, exercised the same way. We do not sell personal information and do not discriminate for exercising a right.
- If you are in the EU/UK, our legal bases are performance of the Service you or an organizer asked for, and our legitimate interest in running it safely.
Children
The Service is for adults. Children may appear in contributions (a grandchild's video, say) at the invitation of an organizer who is responsible for having the right to share it. We do not knowingly collect accounts or contact details from children under 13; write to us and we will remove them.
Security
Pages are private by default, reveal links are unguessable, media is served over HTTPS from access-controlled storage, and organizer sign-in is by magic link or Google — no passwords for us to lose. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will tell you.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes here and update the date above. Questions or requests: contact@keepsakepage.com, or by mail to Truchel Advisory Group LLC at the address on our business registration.
